A New Day Adult Care Center is a not for profit program of The Lakewood Foundation.  We have been serving the Lakewood community, Cleveland’s west side neighborhoods, and the west-shore communities of Bay Village, Fairview, North Olmsted, Rocky River and Westlake with excellent adult day services since 1987, when the program received an Alzheimer Respite Demonstration Project grant.  We are very proud of our abilities to help families with our excellent services while offering a number of financial assistance programs to those who qualify.

Our Staff

Our most important asset is our skilled and caring staff.  Our Activity Staff offers a wonderful mix of programming that includes opportunities for learning, exercising, socializing and meeting others, along with several denominations of worship services, pet therapy, intergenerational experiences and occasional field trips.

Our Programs

Our strong collaboration with Lakewood Hospital and The Lakewood Division of Aging have generously contributed to our ability to expand our program to include PASSPORT, TITLE III OLDER AMERICAN’S ACT funding for adult day services, DISABILITY WAIVER-serving clients under age 60, Cuyahoga County’s OPTIONS Program, along with on-going contracts with the VA, and Cuyahoga County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities.
